Example projects:

FIRED-uP - Global to Local was commissioned by the London Fire Brigade to assist in bid preparation and currently to provide the project secretariat and dissemination and communication actions.

London (UK) and Ghent (BE) Fire Services will undertake a project to deliver Innovative Procurements to improve the sustainability of the fire services resulting in reduced emissions and reduced fuel consumption in their fire engines. To encourage similar actions in other EU member states, a Best Practice Guide will be produced to identify the barriers and solutions to overcoming innovative procurement in the fire services.
The 3 year project has received approval for funding from the European Commission (Enterprise & Industry)

SEGMENT - Global to Local was commissioned by LB Hounslow to lead the bid preparation and to run the secreariat for this European project on segmented marketing for energy efficient transport.

UNIVERSITY OF KEELE - Global to Local is currently providing consultancy support on Horizon 2020.

SMART SPP - Global to Local was a partner in a European project which involved the development, testing and revision of highly energy-efficient environmental technologies, and bringing them onto the market. The approach was to manage risk at the pre-procurement phase and to develop a life cycle costing tool.

TRAILBLAZER - aims to showcase existing good practices and promote public sector policy interventions which can bring about a reduction in energy used in urban freight transport. This will be achieved by municipalities, in partnership with their suppliers and the private sector through the implementation of Delivery and Servicing Plans (DSPs). Global to Local provided assistance to LB Sutton on various aspects of the project.
